Volunteer Opportunities
We always need help! We're an all-volunteer organization and can use all the help we can get. Please sign up to help below. We need help with BOTH the Outrigger Canoes and the Dragon Boats.
Help Wanted!
Boat Washing
DragonSports will supply the soap, sponges, power washer, music, snacks and beverages! You supply the volunteers and get points towards selecting your practice time next year!
Boat Work
Mostly sanding, but other help is needed as well to get the boats ready for the water.
Boat Transfers
Paddle (or steer) boats from the RiverPlace Marina to Willamette Park and back.
Youth Group Events
We occasionally offer to take out school groups in the dragon boats free of charge. Kids are the future of our sport! We do need volunteer callers and tillers to make this happen!
